Macarons

Trying out for the first time, baking two sets of macarons, raspberry and chocolate. Risk assessment includes using sharp objects and heat carefully. The recipe was quite difficult to follow, but somehow I managed until the end. Whisking egg whites, mixing dry ingredients in, adding the batter into a piping bag. Piping on to a baking sheet and baking at 225°C degrees for approximately 10 to 15 minutes. Filling was 'pudding' like made and macarons were compiled when cooled.

Macarons are claimed to be one of hardest desserts to create, and I have to admit that I was quite close to losing hope. Fortunately they turned out fine. First batch was bit questionable, but second one was a success. Learning new baking techniques and developing my skills, especially patience and focusing. Undertaking a new challenge felt great, and some day I will finesse these, for sure!
