Brunch

Cooking and serving a birthday brunch for my dad's 47th birthday. Croissants, Karelian pies with traditional Finnish eggsalad, cake, coffee, drinks... Making and baking croissants and Karelian pies in the oven, and setting the table in a festive way.

Risk assessment includes using heat and sharp objects carefully. Rewarding to see both parents glad and surprised. The whole brunch had an enjoyable atmosphere and food was delicious. It's has been a tradition in our family to cook brunch for the one, who's birthday were celebrating, for as long as I can remember. And I absolutely love it! Great way to show affection.
